True, I noticed those CDN links on the old Soundcloud after having suggested that earlier. My problems with the new site are to do with some more secure streaming protocol. It's frustrating trying to share stuff this way and being additional problems. It doesn't appear to be getting better.

different CDNs (at least on the new one), and if the CDN's edge node
near you is unreachable, then you lose!
