X313 present transit
New Years Eve
Gainsborough Studios 17 Poole Street Hoxton London N1
Sunday 31st December 2000
9:00pm - 7:00am

When X313 presented UR (Interstellar Fugitives) in 1998, it became the most
talked about event of that year bar none. Numerous party people who could
not gain entrance to the sold out event shed gallons of tears. In 1999 our
presentation, Hoxton NYE, was one of a handful of successful New Years Eve
events in London. In 2000 we took monthly residency in Plastic People,
Hoxton, mixing celebs with some of the most cutting edge DJs from around the
world. Our Transit nights in the heart of Hoxton has been London's only
regular interactive club night, with web casts from all participating
artists and the crowd. These too have been over subscribed.

Close to its centenary year the Gainsborough studios gained notoriety as
Alfred Hitchcock's resident studio for the most adventurous part of his
career. This culminated with the film "The Lady Vanishes". Transit NYE 2000
is a 4-arena celebration of the most creative and exciting music around
today themed in the spirit of Hitchcock. Transit will comprise 4 rooms theme
along the lines of 4 Hitchcock films, Spellbound, Birds, Vertigo and
Notorious. In addition expect ample chill out areas with the most
comfortable seating. The licensed bars will serve your entire favourite
tipple seamlessly into the New Year. We have scour the globe gathering
artists and DJs Hitchcock would be proud of.
