Funny story - about 10 years ago a guy who had worked in Rubadub went on to
work at Warp as an intern (it's Callum, now better know as Spencer from
Numbers). He was going through their stock sheets and noticed they had
200+ copies of Electroworld on vinyl sitting on the shelves at their
distributors warehouse forgotten about for years.

Cue much frothing at mouth by us "HOLD THEM, HOLD THEM!! WE'LL TAKE THEM
ALL!!!!". There was then a bit of negotiation to circumnavigate the
difficult world of record shop politics ("yeah...if we give them to you
then "xxxx" will have their nose out of joint and we're doing an instore
with them next month and blah blah blah") and it was decided that we would
be allocated around 80 or 100 copies depending on how many copies there
actually were.

On the Monday we were all pacing about the shop waiting for the courier to
come like kids waiting for Santa to arrive. The van pulls up, the guy
get's out and unloads a couple of boxes. Something's not quite right,
those boxes don't look like they're quite 12" square............hmmmmm

Open the box and.....it's 100 copies of Electroworld on CD. Distributor
had misfiled them on their system as Vinyl.

I think we shut the shop for the day and went to the pub to drown our
sorrows and curse warehouse men up and down the land
