I didn't notice until I started trawling Bandcamp for Tejada that he has an album out this year.
>From the title it makes me think this is his pandemic album. It definitely has more 'home listening' style tracks, like "Eidolon" which stitches together a dizzyingly varied set of electronic sounds. The beat is closer to hip hop or dubstep than techno, but the groove is so sharp it draws blood. "Spectral Progressions" has a similar feel half-stepper feel.. People on the IDM list would have lost their minds over this in the 1990s. "Abbot of Burton" sounds superficially like techno but things get really wonky. I love the low-fi drum break sample that comes in on the turnaround precisely once. "Panacea" is a classic Tejada techno track with a jigsaw groove. "Anchorites" closes out with a two-step beat and a haze of synth chord filthy with digital aliasing. https://johntejada.bandcamp.com/album/year-of-the-living-dead
