Kao,

I have been a member of this list for a few years now (not to say that you
haven't) and while I enjoy Mr. Bloch's music (I order records for a local
record store and highly recommend most of Mr. Bloch's releases), I do not
wish to recieve spam mail of any kind. This is a pretty firm stance taken
by many, many lists around the world, moreso on 313. If Mills, Atkins or
May posted a link to MP3's I wouldn't as quick to complain because they are
313 related. I would however still be pissy about spam in my inbox.

Many members of this list have emailed me and told me they agree. These are
the same people who time and time again post and repost about stopping spam.

If Christian or any other producer (including myself) cared to put a spam
for their new tracks in their sig file, I wouldn't care, because at least
then they would post something of significance and it wouldn't be pure spam.

Perhaps you don't understand my rigidity because you haven't seen the
degradation of this list. There used to be quite informative discussions
and thoroughly enlightening posts. Now the list is compromised of
playlists, track spams for mp3.com, and top ten lists. I now have to sort
through 100's of posts just to receive the content I wish to read.

So you see the 'no spam' rule was put in place to ensure content, and not
advertisement.

Sorry to have missed a good spam discussion, if I could have said this all
earlier I would have.

Cheers
todd
