the "it" i believe is the essence of techno, experience and life and there is no way you are ever going to be able to pin it down. all of history and EVERYTHING that has ever happened has brought us to where we are now and trying to isolate the causes for a particular movement will never paint a true picture of "it". techno is just another part of the evolution of communication and expression and it is no more unique than any other form of expression, each being unique in their own way. a caveman banging a drum, what it their message? i know you love techno but you need to take your blinders off and accept the bigger picture for the incomprehensible, intricately beautiful mess it is. (i know you are not gonna though and sparking a conversation is never a bad thing).
