Whoever has bought these domain names is more than likely practicing what is known as "domain name squatting." Basically, they purchased the domain name in hopes of reselling it later to someone else that wants it bad enough to pay them a sizeable profit for it. Meanwhile, they'll continue to register and re-register the name(s) for $35/each per year (or whatever the fee is now) until they're successful with their easy get-rich scheme, or tired of spending money on something they can't sell for what they want.
How about detroittechno.edu, detroittechno.gov or detroittechno.mil? Any of those taken yet? ;-) Matt E-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Web Site: http://www.magicmattkelly.com > Does anyone know what is up with the people who bought detroittechno.com > detroittechno.net, and detroittechno.org?
