As for the EQ it is probably tube based (probably the compressor). Very expensive stuff, but the EQ could also be the work of an opto-or so called vactrol compression method. This gives a certain groove to the mix because the compressor is a bit on the slow side with its attacks and releases (thanks to the use of optical light cells, hence the name opto-compressor), it also sounds quite warm.
