Bernard Badie: "Symbiosis - EP"
Alleviated Records has recently reactivated and is now being distributed by the Brooklyn based label Track Mode Recordings. Alleviated is proud to announce a proper release schedule with old and new titles soon to be available! One of which Alleviated is proud to present , the "Symbiosis" EP from Chicago Producer/DJ, Bernard Badie. Bernard is back, with an Ep that every DJ enthusiast of "Deep House" music would want to have. At least one copy of this piece should be a part of any comprehensive collection. Bernard teamed up with a couple of friends, Joe Hall and Clara McElroy on a tune called, "Oxygen", a really DEEP selection with 2 mixes for your DJing, listening, and dancing pleasure. The track is very reminiscent of "OLD SCHOOL" selections from the "Windy City" Chicago. The original underground version is a bit more DJ friendly with a driving flow and raw beats. Underground party atmospheres will be the perfect place to put the needle on the groove (Hint!). With Club and Chart hits like, "What About Love?" and "Shine" (to name just a couple), the label Alleviated Records played a foundational role in the development of the Dance Music scene that we currently enjoy. There is a lot of history behind this imprint. The future seems to be even brighter at this point.

Track Listing:

Side A:
1. Oxygen [5:38]

Side B:
1. Oxygen (Original Underground Version) [5:28]
2. Move To The Beat [5:16]

CD. CATALOG # P(L)E 65257

RELEASE DATE: JANUARY 22, 2001

After the success of Carl Craig’s ‘Designer Music’ CD,
PLANET E starts 2001 with another classic
CD. The second part in the Geology series:

Over the past 10 years, PLANET E has not only released
music by label founder (and legendary producer)
Carl Craig, but has also been a home for a diverse list of
artists that Craig chose to define his own eclectic tastes.
The first Geology collection released last year mined the label’s
catalog, compiling a selection of past, present, and future
classics, many of which are out of print or were only
previously available on vinyl.

Geology 2 revisits the hallowed Planet E vaults and surfaces
with a second edition of eclectic dancefloor favorites, new mixes
and precious, un-released tracks:

Fresh new remix of Common Factor’s - ‘Get Down’ by the UK’s Kirk De

Georgio (MO WAX records , OPART). This ‘Future/Past’ mix, turns a House stormer into and funky Techno classic.

The long awaited return from Chaz Vincent. ‘Human Powered Flight’
takes you on a journey through the soul of electronica.

How dare we put out a remix of one of Carl Craig’s classics!!!!!
Well here it is, the beautiful and eerie ‘At Les’, turned on its head
by the UK’s Russ Gabriel (FEROX records). See for yourself....

Kenny Dixon's (MOODYMANN) controversial remake of Innerzone Orchestra's
controversial remake of the Stylistics 'People Make The World Go Round'.
