i saw paris and assault yesterday at club douala, ravensburg, germany and after having rocked the mazzo in amsterdam and the fabric in london they continued to do so there. i really had the time of my life and once again it was a proof that you don't need a full house to have a great party. there were only around 80 to 100 people in the club but paris and assault ROCKED THE HOUSE. first was paris, he played a nice mixture beetween funky hard techno and some dope electro tracks, i spotted a lot of 'the advent' tracks. his mixing was very good as well, he did so in a very energetic way and he definitely enjoyed himself. i talked to him afterwards for a while and he's really a very nice and funny guy with the right attitude towards the music. next was assault and i was quite interested in people's reaction because most of them didn't really know about what he would be going to play. at first they seemed to be a bit confused but after a while everyone was shaking their asses (and the females their titties :-) he played with less tricks than usual because there was not enough space for him in the dj booth. but he was very good and did some mad things anyway. i left the place with signed mix-cds from both paris and assault and a smile on my face that will accompany me into the new year :-)
thanx for reading and i wish all of you a cool 2001. peter ps. for anyone in germany who still doesn't know where to go tonight, paris is going to spin at ultraschall, munich. and assault at the stammheim in kassel.
