I was thinking the same thing, just last week. I think what's going on with Derrick, is that he's a perfectionist.
I've got a question for all of you. What do you think an award/trophy Derrick May received in 1987 from a Metro Detroit radio station would fetch on Ebay? It was for "Best Dance Group". Funny that's how they classified Techno then, for lack of a better category. I'm not saying it's for sale, just curious. Though I did tell Derrick when he was (more) famous, I was going to sell it.
