I *think* the tour - which is being orchestrated by a Perth crew - may have been arranged fairly late in the works, as I know there was interest in Melbourne too but the most likely promoter couldn't fit in it as they had prior commitments at both venues they handle, which they felt very disappointed about. Another promoter who would usually be open to something like this is os. I can assure you there is interest in Melbourne. With Alton what happened was that he had just become a new dad and wanted to get home ASAP to be with family. I know for a fact that there was considerable interest in Sydney and Melbourne to book him but Alton just committed to the Perth NYE date. We're hoping he will be back soon.
