1st. this thread just went through the IDM list, it was quite pointless(as
are most things on the IDM list.)
2nd. Of all the people to single out, Marcel is probably one of the most
on-topic, information rich posters to this list. He is one of the _very_ few
quality old school listmembers who still post regularly. Forcefield has
always supported the Detroit Techno community, and has provided a solid
education about good dance music in general. Nortroute always has at least a
couple d-flavored jams, if not full sets.
3rd. playlists should be posted to music lists. It gives an indication of
what is going on at the moment, it provides a venue for labels to have their
music played in a public forum(this is especially important for a musical
genre that generally is ignored in mainstream media.) It provides an outlet
for artists to aim for(there is no mojo playing deep space mixes in 313
anymore)
if it bothers you that much, filter out any message that has "nortroute" in
the header. I think I speak for a good chunk of the list when I say that
playlists have a place here.
You ought to be vetching about mills vs hpdj vs darw_n wanker/driveler vs
oakenfodder vs toneshifting in a cage match on the bottom of the detroit
river at the next demf with the Martian as referee and drexciya giving
commentary.

Dear Fixer,
don´t know what other people on this list do think,
but for me his charts do make sense in this List...
as many people here post their advertising-stuff
new mp3´s etc..
Some do write fanmails about people
"who take it fake it and break it".
What they do play at nortroute does make sense to me
on this list as the spirit of their selection ain´t no fake and
there´s always some detroit-tune or flava in there !
If all the mails would be Detroit-Only
I think you would be right
But as this list is full of other stuff,
and some of it is really bull,
I do wonder why did you pick out this one ???
