Buy old stuff. Especially old Yamaha and Roland gear. I buy stuff that has sounds that I like, or will allow me to create those sounds.
Take a look at my gear list on my site - http://www.geocities.com/labwerx Kevin Conrad <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> on 03/01/2001 03:53:26 PM To: 313@hyperreal.org cc: Subject: Re: [313] jeff [EMAIL PROTECTED]/flame bait? I agree with Sean, I just wanted to gain some more knowledge. With all the equipment out there, it's hard to tell what's flexible and what's not, except by asking anyone and everyone and getting their opinions. You can only spend so much time at Guitar Center playing on a machine before they kick you out :) I actually try to get stuff that people don't own so I can try to get my own sound/style molded. But in the end, it's the person that makes the music, not the gear. Kevin --- "Hodgson, S. R.
