herbie mann is a really cool new orleans jazz flute player. his music is kinda fusion/funk????? really groove oriented
I really like his memphis underground album. my mom used to play it for me when I was a kid. roy ayers playied keys for him. and larry coryell on guitar are the only other famous people that played with him but I not sure.
