thanks for your suggestions so far.
i think i have enough background information on him for my project but im
still looking for specific examples of MODERN electronic music that has been
influenced by cage. i was saw brian eno's name mentioned, but im not
familiar with any of his work...any suggestions?!! the only thing i came up
with (and it might not even be that valid) is aphex twin blahalah bouncing
ball. it seems to fit the whole "music by chance" thing and how everyday
noise can create music which were themes shared by cage, but do you guys
think i should look for something more layered and soundscapey? as for
Stockhausen, terry riley and steve riech, yes im already familiar with there
work too, but the other group gets to steve riech and Stockhausen so they're
off limits.
