At the Ann Arbor electronic music colloquium in the fall, Grandmaster Flash talked about how he actually figured out how to pre-hear a record before he played it. Using his electronic know-how (circuits and whatnot) to make a primitive kind of mixer, he said it was something nobody had done before. Can anyone add to this? J
