Rendez-Vous Electroniques are a festival of electronic arts,
organized on initiative of the TECHNOPOL association. Fourth edition will
take place from September 6 till September 16, 2001 with the will, this
year, to widen demonstrations on the whole France.
This festival aspires to gather a maximum of events day and night,
coordinated by a communication organized and piloted by the association. The
objective of the Rendez-Vous Electroniques is to mobilize during ten days
all the places in connection with the electronic culture (galleries,
theatres, clubs, bars, cinemas …) to present the widest range possible
of the creation around electronic arts. One will find music (DJS, concerts),
plastic arts, multimedia, cinema and spectacles of dance as well as debates
and conferences notably in the Georges Pompidou center and in the BNF.
TECHNOPOL's role consists in motivating the actors of the
electronic culture to participate in this demonstration, benefiting them
free from the labellisation "Reve" and from the plan of communication of
