Hello,

I do not have scientific proof one way or the other, but that is the
generally held belief. I read that in a few different places back in the
early 90's when colored indie rock 7"s came into vogue(at least the
magazines told me they were in vogue, I was about 13 at the time. ;) That
seems to be the case, at least as far as my own personal experience with
non-black vinyl goes.
