The vocalist is Natacha Labelle, aka Stach, who lives in Toronto. If you have the Public Transit Recordings "Blue Night Network" CD you will recognize her as the voice from Maxelle... down-tempo, jazzy, uplifting house stuff.. When I heard that I was too late to remix her, we just decided to work on some fresh material together. I recently started working with her in my last trip to Toronto and you should expect a series of new tracks with her + my own vocals. My next live date is 15 Sept. in Cleveland, OH with DJ Thomas James, hosted by the Headroomdigital.com crew.. at the * [asterisk] gallery in Tremont. Next up is 21 Sept. in Hamilton, Ontario [outside of Toronto]. I'll be performing live, in addition to Charles Noel [archetype, cr02, monochrome, fuzzy logic, sleepyhead] and Ed Luna will be DJing. And then again 6 October in NYC.. then off to Europe for 6 weeks.
