Last time I saw Eric Haupt play was at Sickness/Recovery...if I remember correctly. He was on leave from the navy at the time I think. Wasn't there a brother as well who played? Adam?
I think the more important point here is that a larger known local talent is helping a less recognized talent get recognition. Kevin Saunderson is doing it with the new KMS studios (with Heath Brunner-sp-and some other experienced locals) and I think it's something that older Detroit players should use as an example. There is so much "younger" talent in Detroit that doesn't get the recognition they deserve, such as derek and many, many others. I find it interesting that some people forget that not everyone on this lists posts or speaks. If it's one thing the information age is infamous for, is creating a lack of manners and respect for others. Let's try and remember that what you post about someone, you should just as well be able to say it to their face. And even if they aren't on the list...it's pretty guarenteed it will get back to them (-especially- in Detroit).I don't care if anyone care's or not, just take into consideration. The opening act showup that comes to mind first is when I saw Lamb open for Gus Gus at St.Andrews. Lamb blew Gus Gus's set away IMHO. d __________________________________________________ Terrorist Attacks on U.S. - How can you help?
