There are many online stores that carry Emoticon material - the trouble is sometimes that they're pressed in fairly limited quantities and have tended to sell out quickly. But here's what I've managed to find today (all UK stores): http://www.bi-wire.co.uk (002, 003 and 004 in stock) http://www.juno.co.uk (003 and 004 in stock) http://www.rubadub-records.com (all 4 releases in stock) http://www.smallfish.co.uk (003 and 004 in stock) http://www.vinyl-junkies.co.uk (004 in stock) http://www.vinylunderground.force9.co.uk (003 and 004 in stock) And the releases have also been stocked by: http://www.catapult.co.uk http://www.hardwax.com http://www.hedonizm.demon.co.uk http://www.pelicanneck.com Emoticon is distributed by Rush Hour - http://www.rushhour.nl - their own online mailorder service is currently under construction and should be up and running soon. In the meantime you can contact them with any distribution-related questions. One of my plans for 2002 is to work out some kind of online mailorder service for the Emoticon releases - but whether I do this myself or look for an established online retailer to work with remains to be decided... And while we're on the subject, here's some news of forthcoming releases: EMOT 005: Various Artists - Emoticon Sampler Three - Feb 2002 Third and final 4-track sampler EP featuring Connective Zone, Jeff Samuel, Scape One and Schmutzig EMOT 006: Otomi - Zusammen/Vertrauen - Feb 2002 Two-track 12" of deep string-laden techno soul from deepest Scotland. EMOT 007: Future Beat Alliance - Head Ways - March 2002 Brand new EP from FBA, fresh from the success of his awesome 'Disconnected' album on Delsin. Four tracks covering a range of moods, from edgy broken techno to cut-up hip-hop grooves with deep strings and soaring melodies. Apologies for the blatant self-promotion - please feel free to contact me privately for any more info...
