Tim Koch and i would like to invite you to check out some info
on Tundra-Music, the new record label that we've started that will
bring you cool digital music with warm analog sounds. Our website
is currently located at www.tundra-music.com, with an additional
re-vamp coming soon!
It goes without question that our initial EP release called Glaciarc
(a split 12" with Maps & Diagrams and Tim Jackiw) will leave you
in a desolate place while a blanket of warm rhythms washes over
your ears. The Glaciarc EP will do just that --but see for yourself
by listening to some of the audio-samples located at the website,
www.tundra-music.com.
Upcoming releases include an EP by Boulder, Colorado based Jon
Canupp (aka Ten & Tracer) who's music definitely treads a close
resemblance to that of the Boards of Canada, but definitely in its
own particular groove, of course. www.tenandtracer.com is his
website.
We're also working on an upcoming compilation that will follow a more
Detroit-influenced sound.. inspired by the rhythms and textures that
labels such as Transmat have introduced to our hearts. Artists include
Tim Jackiw, Maps & Diagrams, Norken, Jeff Symons, Esem, Xela,
Dimension 5, Ten & Tracer and others!
