If you ever get disenchanted with Hawtin, just go back to the Dimension Intrusion (LP). I personally think he's an asset. Also it seems he's enlightened & humble enough to know he's still got stuff to learn ... plus unlike many, he embraces change. Isn't that what this music's largely about?
