Personally, I don't care whether Sasha or Judge Jules or whomever plays. I have always though it silly that Europe has big, 3 day electronic music events by the dozen and Detroit (or just America in general) had next to none. The DEMF has "inspired" more of this in the US, with events popping up everywhere. The DEMF, of done properly, could stick around far longer than the likes of the "St. Louis Electronic Music Festival" or others. Diversity could be the key to that, but acceptance of such diversity (in Detroit anyways) may not happen quickly.
