Now here is what all die hard electro heads have waited for: 'Electro
Commando 1 - Welcome To Psicity'. Anthony Rother and Germany's most prolific
electro label PSI49Net finally open their vaults to present the ultimate
electro collection of new and unreleased material. Two CDs, 25 tracks (most
of them unreleased!), introducing lots of new LITTLE talent and projects as
well as some of the recent highlights that have gained the label such an
enormous reputation worldwide. Both as an artist/producer and a&r for the
label, Anthony Rother once again proves to be the man with the midas touch
and the driving force of the genre. 'Electro Commando 1' includes some of
the greatest moments of the label's discography such as Rother's very own
remix of "Little Computer People", his visionary and genre defying
"Simulationszeitalter", "Froyd's "Kleiner Engel", and on top of that some
excerpts of the highly acclaimed Netzwerk series (Netzwerk Florida, Netzwerk
Europa and Netzwerk Frankfurt). And if these were not enough to put together
a compilation more than worthy, this double cd offers more than fifteen
unreleased tracks! Regarding these new projects CD 1 starts off with Rother'
s anthemic 'Psicity' title tune, followed by truly refreshing material by
upcoming artists such as Psylocity (check out their breathtaking "machine"),
Labor E, Christian Berg, Boris Divider and Studio 3, to be completed by
Rother's much sought after "God Of The Gods". The second CD features not
only the newest Netzwerk Frankfurt outing entitled "A661", Psylocity's
haunting "Psylocity and Friends" and Froyd's weird "Weisses Rauschen
(Psych. Mix), but also great efforts by Anthony's new signings Mulletronic,
Frequenzberater, Növö, Si-Com (with an impressing slo mo-electro cut called
"Lost Pli") and Muzzfuzz ("Like You", simply beautiful!) that will
definitely create a buzz within the worldwide electro community. PSI49Net is
proud to welcome these new inhabitants to downtown and uptown Psi City. A
