Memo from Alex Bond of PricewaterhouseCoopers

-------------------- Start of message text --------------------

Weird, I was going to post something like this this morning.

In Manchester there is a place where you can get 500 12's with a one colour
label and a plain sleeve for £770.
I was talking to a guy from here who has put a couple of things out and he
was telling me that there was a (or many) place in Belgium that was cheaper
and also better quality. Do any of you guys from the low countries know
anything about this?

I have decided over the weekend that I'm not going to go to DEMF (there's
only that Trackmode thing I want to go to and Drexciya isn't even playing
now), me and some friends are going to get some music pressed up in the
summer (we had planned for the winter) instead. Problem is, I'm fairly
clueless about the manufacturing side and we don't have much money to waste
(all the money is coming from us selling our souls on e-bay). Any pointers,
especially about the pressing plants abroad and how we might keep the costs
down would be most appreciated.

Thanks,

Alex.

Can anyone recommend and point me in the direction of some good European
based mastering and pressing plants.

Thanks in advance
