Well if its been esatblished that this is thier selection policy then I missed that, but what the hell!! Sorry if this has been discussed to death, but surely that breaks every ethical rule of party promotion in the book. Firstly it seems kinda presumptious to assume that DJs who may well have prior bookings across that weekend will drop everything and dissapoint those looking forward to hearing them at prebooked and planned parties and secondly did it not occur to them that some artists, who they might even have contracted through more appropriate channels, would end up dissing the event through thier sheer audicity.
I dunno, maybe I'm wrong, but it really seems like a huge mess and one thats gonna really harm the festivals reputation.
