i think there's a lot more missing than just the clubs. none of us are under
the illusion that suddenly all these people are going to realise what
they've been missing and embrace techno. nor do we expect them to.
the problem is that electronic music HAS achieved a mainstream success, much
of it on the backs of detroit aritists. and there are still dues unpaid.
yeh, we have all the access WE want but where is the recognition for the
artists?
i know it may never come about, but that doesn't mean people should stop
fighting for it.
