love is in the air!

And isn't great when yo see DJ's getting along and having a laugh,
all DJ's should have this mentallity, not likem Dave CLarke and Carl Cox
who I saw at the
End and Dave got really arsey withn Carl for dropping one more tunre than he
should of..

fair enuff every DJ likes one more tunes but Mr Clarke got a bot funny and
knocked
Carl while he got to the decks, to the punters it looked really bad.

But hey we all get in moods and DJ's are the same, so hey its nice too see
when they
are having fun together..

a martch made in heaven Sven & Richie ( and his woman) on the same
nite...loved up all the time!

There was lots of lov-ie dubby-iness going on between what appeared to be
vath and hawtin.. but oh, sitting there in the background on the stage, was
richie's g-friend. She was the one making him smile;) she helped him finish
off his set, handed him a record or two.

but yes vath and hawtin were smiling at one another the entire night! i had
been looking forward to seeing vath for about 2-3 months .. but the records
he was playing were like candy compared to what hawtin was dropping. i
missed his set at vinyl on saturday though, i heard he dropped some pretty
dope stuff there.

Last year at the dutch Dance Valley festival he fell from this golf car and
broke his arm. He had to play the final slot at the Techno Tent, which was
hosted by Cocoon.

Richie Hawtin was playing before him, and was still around when Vath
started.
Hawtin would put one of Vath's records on the deck, put the needle on it,
and he
then would help Vath putting the headphone on his head. Vath also had
someone to
flip through his records for him. Very funny to see, but he still managed to
rock the place!

he's a legend round here and been a kind of unofficial
resident at the orbit for 10 years with omen parties, harthouse
nights, birthday parties and 1 or 2 orbit parties over at the omen many
years back. the ultimate party dj for me it's always a great atmosphere
when he plays and so what if he isn't the worlds best mixer (juan atkins?).
certainly deserves alot more respect than he gets on biased list.
