regarding the first track, I like the energy, but after checking my mixer and both outboard filters, I quit blaming my setup for the resultant flatness of the track
there is no bass, no treble... I just dropped the mids with my mixer and most of the track disappeared.. track 2, is nice in terms of content. a little hard for a lot of peoples tastes, but nice. again this track is very flat, and mono from the sound of things. writing good music is harder than mastering tracks out tho so you're in the same boat as I am ie, track skills and no mastering skills keep em coming! -Joe fux www.emmrecords.com/teh_fux ----- Original Message ----- From: "Brian 'balistic' Prince" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Jake" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Cc: "313 hyperreal.org" <313@hyperreal.org> Sent: Monday, May 13, 2002 7:20 PM Subject: Re: [313] Assorted tracks > J> http://209.15.80.159/05.13.02.mp3 > > Tool-ish, but with enough change-ups to keep me interested.
