I wasn't really sure about the crowd's reaction during Stewart's set, which was just thoroughly *tight*.
At the end, they were cheering and yelling and he took a big bow :) Adam X played about like the last time I saw him in 1993, although it doesn't seem as fast now! I also like Art Payne and Keith Martin, Keith Kemp and the little bit I saw from Gary Martin. Missed Brian Gillespie's underground stage set because they limited him to strictly one hour (noon-1, what's with THAT?!) but Greg Earle and I caught his promo thing for DJ Supply in the display room at 6. He was upset about not being used to a new mixer but he had the room jumpin' with straight- up Detroit bass. Mmmmmm :) Not a good afterparty night for me, unfortunately. Less said the better. We all had a great time at the UR party Saturday night though. The sound in Johansen Gallery was finally what it had the potential to be, and Buzz Goree and Rolando both mashed it up. My friend Tamara Palmer whom some of you know said, "I danced going in, I was still dancing going out the door. How often do you see *that*!" phred --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
