Ok this is a bit of random shot in the dark... I happened to pick up a french housey/electronica compilation in london the other week (called Champs-Elysees Cafe) with a quality jazzy tune called "IC le funk" by Monsieur Charles.
This sounds like it samples maybe John Coltrane or miles davis or someone similarly jazzy. Does anyone know: a) if this track is available on vinyl and if so where from b) where the main sample is taken from think there is a clip on www.monsieurcharles.com [looks like the track is taken from the album "Mission Deluxe" however Ive not been able to track this down] any help muchos appreciated !
