I highly recommend anybody that is interested in the theremin to check out
some of the items at this site (http://theremin.info/theremin-store.shtml)

the clara rockmore CD entitled "The Art of the Theremin - Clara Rockmore"
particularly good is the track "Saint-Saens - The Swan" sounds nothing like
techno but you have to admire the ability to make such a fantastic sound out
of electronics in those days.I think that is the only CD of hers available
(it was produced by Bob Moog i think)

the book 'Theremin : Ether Music and Espionage' is very detailed and is
worth a read also.

the best thing about the theremin story I think, is all the people he met
and the devices he created and his life story..not so much the sound of the
instrument which can be annoying at times..small doses it's ok! (i.e on at
least one metro area 12" i can think of)

cheers,
Dave
