i made the trek from rochester to chicago to meet up with john and rich for that party. DBX wasnt there. farley, hardfloor and paul johnson were the main room with john, rich and nigel richards in the back and some drum and bass dj's in the connecting passageway. i think there were a couple of wanky trance types also.

anyways...i wasnt terribly impressed by farley that night (or paul johnson for that matter but i was expecting not to be) but then again it was a young, uneducated crowd

Farley only does radio shows any more, and when he does those is quite rare. Last time he spun outside of a studio has at the Live on the Decks party 2 years ago...I think it was #3. DBX was there too...And I was long gone from
the midwest.
I managed to download the Farley Mix from WBMX off the Deephouse pages and
converted it to CD audio and burned it to a CD...it is really good. He
takes that track "Washing Machine" and mixes it with I have a Dream, the MLK
speech...good stuff!

I have never seen Farley 'Jackmaster' Funk play. He, Claude Young and Rob Hood are at the top of my list of DJs I need to see, but haven't. I'm gonna be in Chicago from probably the 5th or 6th - 9th of September before I move to London, so my question is whether he ever plays in Chicago anymore, and if he plays in Europe with any regularity. For that matter, what does he do
these day? Does he produce or DJ much at all?
