Techno Imports is brilliant, though for Americans, you'll find that they specialize in Imports as in Imported from the US ...
You might find a few gems that have disappeared here, but a lot of the stock is stuff you can find here cheaper. Also Black Label records 25 Rue Keller (in the Bastille) is a small drum and bass specialist shop, very good for finding white labels, nice people. They promote very nice D&B Soirees. I don't remember the name but there's an excellent small shop right across Rue Keller that specializes in IDM/Experimental/Industrial ... And of course the Bastille is full of great restaurants, relatively cheap for Paris. Including Leon of Brussells for buckets of mussels and all-you-can-eat french fries -- the only place I found in Paris that has anything all-you-can-eat ;-) On Tue, 27 Aug 2002, armin holzgethan wrote: > paris by marie warnery:: > > Da Groove records shop = house > 17, rue de l'Echiquier > 75010 Paris M?tro:Bonne Nouvelle > tel : 01 48 010 318 > > Basement Trax = techno, house, d&b, electro... > 22, rue de Hauteville > 75010 Paris M?tro:Bonne Nouvelle > tel : 01 40 22 05 82 > > Katapult imports= techno, house, d&b, electro... > 10, rue E.Lockroy > 75011 Paris M?tro:Parmentier > tel : 01 47 00 33 75 > > Techno import== techno, house, d&b, electro, trance, hardcore... > rue des Taillandiers > 75011 Paris M?tro:Bastille > Lot of records but the guys are simply dreadful and not-friendly! > > Fnac ITALIENS > Boulevard des Italiens > 75009 Paris M?tro:Richelieu-Drouot > Lot of Cds and some vinyls.
