Yes, but "Reality Slap" wasn't as much about Detroit techno per se, but techno was kind of the backdrop of what was happening in the main characters social life, working with Transmat, all the music and cities (Detroit, London) references, adventures, etc. I thought it was pretty well written. Used to be available for download somewhere on the internet but not sure where anymore.
If you can find it it's definitely worth reading, this might be one for the FAQ.. :) peace, Matt
