I was sort of the first kid on the block to get ahold of brand new tt1's a few years back, and I like wise got a good price on them.
There are a few perks to having tt1's (and tt2s could only be an improvement i would guess)Like sean was saying, they can spin backwards and the digital readout on the tone arm is nice,(+/-10.0) but they certainly dont feel like technics. The tables are very sensitive, any little touch will affect play. You can practically stop the plate with your finger tips. Which kind of leads to a jugling act, your hands must never leave the table for too long while in the mix. Technics just feel better, I dont know how to explain it, but they feel more reliable. Like you could feel safe hiring them to babysit. You kind of get used to the tables you have. Everytime I get on a pair of technics, I have to relearn them to a certain degree. Coupled with a minor case of stage fright, I dont get out as often as I'd like to (technics being the trade standard) All in all, I think the features are nice, its good to see some experimentation, but my next tables will be technics. -JasonK >===== Original Message From Rudy Delgado <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ===== > A quick question for everyone.
