Like a previous poster has mentioned about Mike Grant, he is a pillar of
Detoit history. DJing since the 80's, and making appearances alongside the
likes of Ken Collier and Jeff Mills. With this Mike's reputation grew and
grew, and led to partnerships and friendships with the likes of Eddie
'Flashin' Fowlkes, Derrick May and Juan Atkins. Even with all this
expeirence behind him he has never received the attention he has fully
deserved due to military and education commitments.
Now in his return, and in some respect playing catch-up, Mike has founded 3
stunning labels that cover deep house, detroit techno and urban based
releases. And as a dj, Grant is the only Detroit DJ who plays complete deep
house/house and techno sets as well as a mixture. Grant also earned the
distinction as being the only American DJ to have a residency at Tresor
Club
in Berlin.
