More Beatdown in 2003 Third Ear follow their Detroit Beatdown Vol 1. double cd and triple vinyl, with a slew of Beatdown releases in 2003.
The label will be launching two series of 12s in the coming months. A 'Detroit Beatdown Sessions' series, featuring new and exclusive tracks by artists on the Vol 1 compilation, kicks off with Mike 'Agent X' Clark's 'Motown' ep. 12s by Malik Alston, Rick Wilhite, Delano Smith, Darren Abrams, and Norm Talley will follow. The other series is the 'Detroit Beatdown Remixes' series of 12s. The first 12 features remixes from DB1 by Gilbr, Daz-I-Kue in Getto Swing mode, plus Detroit remixes from Mike Huckaby and The Kuumba Project (Reggie Dokes and Scott Ferguson). A double CD featuring all the remixes in the series will be released at the end of the year.
