Hey Alex,

(Trying to avoid overeffusiveness!)

Plastic People has best sound system for a club of its size. Atmos
excellent - only abt 150 capacity - Parrish started with some funk and disco
interspersed with occasional house. Displayed real skill in reading the mood
and raising and lowering it throughout the night. If anyone ever says
anything abt dodgy mxn linked with TParrish, tend not to believe it. Few
skills but very tight, sensible but extensive use of EQ and a spectacle to
watch his emotional involvement in the booth. Lots of KDJ, some Chicago.
Some crazy-crazy obviously Theo-produced tracks (unreleased?) which he let
play out and I doubt anyone minded. He also used two cd dex. A false end
followed by 5 minute applause and of course, a few more. Highlights included
Peven Everett 'Can't Believe ...' (the Calypso Mix), Fela & almost at the
end - 'Fruit Loops' (I thk), sorry I can't remember who by. I must have lost
half a pound in sweat. Bliss.
