I'm not much of a R&B fan, but I heard three songs from the new Dwele album last week on Gilles Petersen, and must say I was totally floored by the music, if not 100% sold on the vocals. I think they will grow on me though. Plus the lyrics were top-notch. Sounded sorta like R&B injected with Detroit tecno. So anyone have any more dirt on this, such as release date, singles with hot remixes, etc? I know a demo was kicking around for a couple of years, so I imagine the push for this release will be pretty heavy.
