I was shocked by my last visit to Record Time Roseville: I was surprised to
find the House 'Top 15' wall had been consumed by the expanded hip hop
section. There's now a 'Top 42' rap and hip hop wall there, although, I
think the house 12s got moved... and resized? Maybe a 'Top 9' now? It is
DEFINATELY evident that the bulk of the vinyl budget has shifted from techno
and house to rap and hip hop. Still lots of used finds, though, if you're
willing to dig-- I found an old Plink Plonk white label test press last
visit. ;)
