we had a record store here in e. lansing, mi. that closed recently. vinyl addict, til recently had a store front, now it is an ebay estore. also i suspect spin cycle will soon join : ( i know the mix factory is blowing stuff out for cheap and about out of there.
we still have fbc (flat black & circular) which doesn't specialize in any one genre, but kind of covers them all, which i think has given it a sort of longevity (25 yrs now). they do how every have great selections of electronic music, hip hop, jazz, indie, punk, good ole' rock'n'roll. which leads me to ask, where does everyone in detroit buy electro? i have been to both record times with in the last month, and they had very little, and it was most pretty common. i have never been to neptune, but have been told it's an mad-net import type store? and melodies & memories (my favorite down there) has that in lock down imo. scotto lansing, mi. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Cyhl" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > yep, that's what I was about to say...
