***Drexciya = James Stinson + Gerald Donald. James
Stinson passed away at the age of 33 in September 2002
due to heart complications, so there cannot be any live
performances from Drexciya in the future. Sad for his
family and friends. Sad for music lovers. Hope this
clarification helps. Andrew Duke PS There is an
interview with Stinson on the Cognition site
(http://techno.ca/cognition). As a fan of Drexciya, it
was a huge privilege to speak with him and one of my
favorite interviews to do because he was so easy to
talk to and passionate about music. Reading the
interview since his passing still brings a rush of
emotions, as does having to use the word "passing" when
talking about someone so young and gifted who left this
world far too early. The interview is in text form
right now, but getting it up in audio form on the site
at some time in the future is definitely on my "long
term to do" list. Take care. Andrew
