- "Lay Back (in the Cut)" is a smoother instrumental electronic instrumental hip-hop tempo affair.. if you remember his OUTSTANDING contribution to the 11 Phases compilation on Sublime a few years back, this is in a similar mood/style... contemplative, deep and gorgeous. - "...Like A Dream" (soundhack mix). Originally this track came out on his awesome Songs for my Mother EP on Frictional. The Soundhack remix tightens it up a notch to creates a funky, jerkey, slighty more uptempo feeling techno soul gem... that plugs along and begs to be mixed with techno, house or broken up choppy stuff. Really nice! I love the original too but let me say this version is a lot easier to slip in and out of a hotmix. :) Peace, Matt MacQueen
