Personally I thought the sort of people on that site were idiots even when I
was young, stupid and on drugs. And now that I'm old, sensible and straight...I
still think they are idiots. Call me an old bast*rd if you like, but I will
always take the pi*s out of anyone covered in vaporub and dressed like a
railway engineer whilst sucking a dummy. Sorry, thats just me.

Armchair, have you had a sense of humour bypass? First thing you should know
is that isn't my site, I just found it some months ago, and as my title said
it's cruel, sad and at the same time funny. And I don't really care that
they are young, stupid and on drugs because lets face it - to dress like
that you'd have to be.

I'm of the opinion that clubs like Gatecrasher/Gods etc have done a lot of
damage to the dance music scene, they've gobbled the underground and turned
it into an empty fashion statement for the masses, 40 point dress codes and
a high ticket prices and now they are left wondering why the clubs are
empty. They've failed to support new artists and have forgotten many of the
original players in a bid to grab as much money as they can along with the
agents and so called big name DJ's.

It's a sad state of affairs when it's more economical to fly in Red Planet
from Detroit than bring a DJ up from London. And before you start I have
nothing against people making a living but Oakey is on £7.5K an hour for
some shows is really taking the p*ss and leaves no space for other people to
come through. The media is also to blame because they are dependant on the
£££ from the adverts so you never see a bad review/report.

Although I should Add the people like Weatherall and Clarke don't conform to
the above and seem to still be in it for the music and party rather than the
pay check...

And you have to ask the question of why shouldn't someone take the p*ss out
of it, it deserves it IMHO.

Take it easy, no-ones dead...
