In the spirit of being the very first truly online media competition, all entries must be submitted digitally via file transfer protocol on the official UPLOAD website (www.rockstargames.com/upload ; www.rockstargamesupload.com ). Submissions are now being accepted in the following categories: * Short Subject Film. Must be between 3 and 30 minutes in length. Acceptable formats: .mpeg, .wmv or .mov. Cash prize: $5,000. * Deejay Mix: Must be between 30 and 60 minutes in length. Acceptable formats: .mp3, .wma or .asf. Cash prize: $2,500. * Short Story: Must be between 400 and 2,500 words in length. Acceptable formats: .doc, .pdf or .html. Cash prize: $2,000. * Multimedia: Interactive design up to five minutes in average experience duration. Must be no larger than 5MB in filesize. Acceptable formats are .swf or .dcr. Cash prize: $2,000. ROCKSTAR GAMES UPLOAD is an ongoing effort to celebrate and support independent artistic endeavor as it is undertaken and distributed on the Internet - & reward that creativity with cash prizes & international exposure.
