Quite a range to pick from for Halloween. I was sad to hear that the Carl
Craig party was a no-go, but hearing about John Arnold playing at the last
minute and going to check out his set was super fun, looking forward to
checking him again soon. Good range of music for a crowd that was equally
split between party people and chin strokers. It was a mixup of the
danciest damn broken beat this side of the Atlantic with some dancy glitch
techno, some chicago deep classix and some just plain fun pop friendly club
tracks.
So the Halloween dilemna for bay area dance freaks will be:
1. Tejada givin it to ya raw at cool underground type party with Freaky
Chakra (please no trance/breaks jokes)
2. Legends of House 5.0 with Dj International supasta' Joe smooth at a
typical club night with Jesse Saunders (again?)
Plus, he's going to do a live performance of "Promise Land". Hey, we can
all dream can't we? Actually it looks to be a DJ set.
