Subject: (313) Techno: Detroit's Gift To The World

A friend of mine recently travelled to Florida, with a stopover in
Detroit. An interesting tidbit appeared on the confirmation email he
received after booking the flight:

FLIGHT RESERVATION
Northwest Airlines NW 31 Monday, October 6, 2003
 From London / Gatwick (LGW), London United Kingdom 1:50 PM
       Terminal: S

<snipped>

Local events:
» Techno: Detroit''s Gift to the World
» Motown Historical Museum
» The Henry Ford Museum & Greenfield Village
» The Bat Zone

Seems as though at least one US company knows what time it is! And what
the f*ck is the 'Bat Zone'!? ;-)

I suppose this is common knowledge among you world travelers, but it
raised a chuckle round here anyway...

Peace,

-Andrew.
